What to expect?

During these few days, we will share with you the wisdom of Yoga including knowledge of physical postures (asanas), techniques of breathing (pranayama), meditation (mindfulness), and make you explore your true inner self.

Practice will vary from one class to another as a blend of Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. We will teach you different techniques of breathwork and meditation, that will help you to improve your concentration and reduce stress on daily basis.

However, a complete harmony cannot be achieved without a balanced diet. At Kailash Yoga Ashram we make sure that you are served healthy sattvic meals that nourish both your body and soul. The meal plan is specifically designed provide balance and enough energy throughout the day of Yoga and Meditation practices.

Lastly, staying in Rishikesh without having the opportunity to admire its natural and cultural beauty, would be a real pity. That is why we will take you around, so that even in this short amount of time, you can discover some of its hidden gems and holy places that this city has to offer.

Yoga Sessions
YOGA ASANAS

1 – 2 daily yoga sessions. One in the early morning to energize your body and awaken your spirit; and the other at the end of the day to gently settle down and prepare for the night.

Meditation session
MEDITATION

1 – 2 daily classes where you will be taught different meditation techniques, accompanied by chanting mantras to invoke personal intentions.

Restorative Yoga
PRANAYAMA

Teaching you different breathing exercises that will help you to relax and enhance clarity. Together with Yoga & Meditation, this practice completes the journey towards inner balance and peace of mind.

EXCURSIONS

1 daily sight-seeing visit or natural walk to explore the beauty of Rishikesh, rich in history and traditions.
